How to get to Joint Research Network Elfriede Jelinek:

Coming from Westbahnhof, take the metro line number 3 in the direction of Simmering to the station Herrengasse. Use the exit Herrengasse and walk towards Michaelerplatz.

Coming from Central Station, take metro line number 1 in direction of Leopoldau to 9the station Stephansplatz. Take the exit Graben, follow the street Graben, then turn left into the Kohlmarkt. At the end of the Kohlmarkt you will find Michaelerplatz.

Starting at the airport, take the commuter train number 7 to the station Landstraße and change to metro line number 3 in direction of Ottakring to the station Herrengasse. Use the exit Herrengasse and walk towards Michaelerplatz.

The Joint Research Network Elfriede Jelinek is located in the Hofburg. Enter the building from Michaelerplatz. Standing under the cupola take the same entrance leading to the Kaiserappartements (Batthyanystiege) and take a left into the stairwell. The office of the Joint Research Network Elfriede Jelinek is located on the first floor at the end of the left hallway.
